Kirtan for Kids is a special event to introduce kirtan to youngsters, and an opportunity for a fun afternoon with your children, your grandchildren, or for the child within. In addition to kirtan songs, there will be simple stories from the Ramayana about Sita and Ram and the heroic monkey god, Hanuman. And we will certainly have a story or two about Lord Ganesha, the elephant god. Dancing and movement is encouraged, as well as singing and chanting mantras. We’ll have rhythm instruments available to play (khartals, bells, shakers, etc.) Or, bring your own!
